LocalYapper
Fully local, offline voice dictation. Open source alternative to Wispr Flow - runs on local models, zero API calls, nothing leaves your machine.

ABOUT
I'm Chaitanya, CS student at BITS Pilani, AI/ML researcher - while constantly vibe shipping. At 16, my technical writing hit 80k+ readers and front-paged Hacker News. That obsession never left. Today I'm founding Authos, shipping open source, and sitting somewhere at the frontier of what these models can actually do.

AUTHOS
SEO is still slow, still manual, and still a full time job for most teams. Authos replaces it entirely.
An autonomous SEO and GEO agent that handles the full content pipeline using LLMs, built for indie hackers, founders, and SaaS companies who want to rank without thinking about it.

PROJECTS
OPEN SOURCE
Fully local, offline voice dictation. Open source alternative to Wispr Flow - runs on local models, zero API calls, nothing leaves your machine.
A browser extension that injects a 2-3kb subject-aware playbook into any LLM query, routing the model through a subject-chapter-topic-subtopic tree. Response comes back keyed, extension captures it, matches keys, renders a structured step-by-step breakdown in split view.
Post-toss, pre-ball IPL prediction engine. Ingests historical data, player context, venue signals, and live bookmaker markets into a structured ML pipeline built for decision-support, not benchmark chasing.
RESEARCH
Independent - github.com/chayprabs/edgelm
A from-scratch C inference engine targeting 100-120 tok/s on consumer Intel hardware, no discrete GPU required. Combines BitNet 1.58-bit ternary quantization, hand-tuned AVX2/AVX-VNNI SIMD kernels, and hybrid CPU plus iGPU compute to push 3B-parameter LLMs on hardware that currently manages 5-7 tok/s with standard tools. Doubles as the foundation for a research paper.
Under supervision of Dr. Dhruv Kumar - CSIS Department, BITS Pilani
An ongoing research collaboration exploring whether classical computing architectures can natively exhibit LLM-like behaviour and what that implies for how we think about intelligence in machines.
ACHIEVEMENTS
1st
BITS Pilani - Apogee Fest
Marketed a professor's campus bakery at Apogee fest, generating INR 3L+ revenue in 5 days - with the lowest average order value product in the room, against teams selling fast fashion and jewellery.
3rd
BITS Pilani
Built Gurja, a bio-CNG solution converting campus mess food waste into energy. Placed 3rd - and the idea got picked up by Blue Chip Food Management and has been operational on campus since 2025.

Beatles to Bob Dylan to Peter Cat Recording Co at 2am. Rock, pop, and anything with a soul in it.
CHESS
1600 on chess.com. Decent enough to enjoy it, humble enough to lose interestingly. Play me sometime.
BOOKS
Currently: Sapiens. Generally: biographies, anything that reframes how I see things. I read weird combinations and I'm not sorry.
