I build products, not just code.

I'm Chaitanya, CS student at BITS Pilani, AI/ML researcher - while constantly vibe shipping. At 16, my technical writing hit 80k+ readers and front-paged Hacker News. That obsession never left. Today I'm founding Authos, shipping open source, and sitting somewhere at the frontier of what these models can actually do.

Authos

Founder

Claude Code and Codex need reliable tools outside the prompt: remote execution that saves tokens, cuts setup cost, and improves accuracy.

Authos runs browser sessions, Office and PDF conversion, large-file inspection, webhooks, sandboxes, temporary databases, logs, and artifact storage in controlled infrastructure, then returns structured JSON plus signed artifact links through one API and MCP layer.

StemLM

Co-founder

The structured way to solve STEM problems with AI.

StemLM works alongside ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, adding the exact step-by-step framework each subject demands. It turns AI answers into curriculum-aligned study views with methods, formulas, diagrams, and the missing steps students actually need to understand.

LocalYapper

A privacy-first voice dictation tool that runs entirely on-device. No cloud, no API calls, no data leaving your machine - just local models that adapt to how you speak. Open source alternative to Wispr Flow and Superwhisper.

Newsroom

An editorial AI pipeline I built after ContextCon to turn live X trends into Crustdata-style data posts. Grok finds the story, Claude scores and reframes it, Crustdata proves it with real data, and GPT-Image-2 renders the final social post - with endpoint validation, prompt caching, usage logs, and per-run artifacts.

EdgeLM

In progress

Independent

A from-scratch C inference engine pushing 3B-parameter LLMs to 100-120 tok/s on consumer Intel hardware - no discrete GPU. Combines BitNet 1.58-bit ternary quantization, hand-tuned AVX2/AVX-VNNI SIMD kernels, and hybrid CPU plus iGPU compute on hardware that currently manages 5-7 tok/s. Foundation for an upcoming research paper.

Can LLMs Be Computers?

In progress

Under the supervision of Dr. Dhruv Kumar · CSIS Department, BITS Pilani

An ongoing research collaboration investigating whether LLMs can natively replicate classical computing primitives - exploring 2D grid transformers, attention complexity reduction from O(n²) to O(n log n), and whether transformer architectures can simulate deterministic state machines.

Eightfold AI Hackathon

2nd Place

Eightfold AI - Apogee Fest 2026, BITS Pilani

Built Candor, an agentic interview integrity system that detects AI-agent assistance during interviews to make hiring fairer and more reliable. I competed solo among 700+ teams and finished 2nd.

OpenAI Codex Hackathon

Featured Builder

OpenAI x GrowthX - Bengaluru

Selected for OpenAI Codex Hackathon - Bengaluru, India's first Codex hackathon, from 5,000+ applicants into a 100-builder offline cohort. Built codex-hack-bengaluru in a one-day sprint focused on agentic coding, developer tools, and AI-native product workflows.

ContextCon

Top 10

Crustdata x Y Combinator - Bengaluru

Selected among the top 100 participants from roughly 2,000 applicants for ContextCon, Crustdata's YC-partnered hackathon for developers, AI agent builders, and technical founders. Built ContextKings with Crustdata APIs in a 6-hour sprint and finished in the top 10.

Solve for Pilani

1st Place

BITS Pilani - Apogee Fest 2025

Marketed a professor's campus bakery at BITS Pilani's Apogee Fest and generated ₹3L+ revenue in 5 days - with the lowest average order value in the room. Every other team ran cash only. We didn't.

BITSpreneur

3rd Place

BITS Pilani

Built Gurja, a bio-CNG system converting campus mess food waste into usable energy. Placed 3rd - then watched the idea get picked up by Blue Chip Food Management and go live on campus in 2025. The competition ended. The project didn't.

Technical writing that front-paged Hacker News, hit 80k+ readers on freeCodeCamp, and earned Author of the Week on both Hashnode and daily.dev.

When I'm not building —

MUSIC

Beatles to Bob Dylan to Peter Cat Recording Co at 2am. Rock, pop, and anything with a soul in it.

CHESS

1600 on chess.com. Decent enough to enjoy it, humble enough to lose interestingly. Play me sometime.

BOOKS

Currently: Sapiens. Generally: biographies, anything that reframes how I see things.
